Depression Screening

At VillageCareMAX, we care about our members' well-being. This year, we started a new program to help those who may be feeling depressed. This program is available to members who have been with us for at least six months.

We connect members with local mental health resources and services to provide support. Members are selected for the project depending on how you answer certain questions during the annual community health assessment. 

If you are chosen for the program, you’ll receive a call from a VillageCareMAX social worker who will ask you some questions about your feelings. They will also share helpful resources if you need them. Please make sure to answer your phone.

If you have questions, please call Member Services at 1-855-296-8800, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, 7 days a week. The call is free. TTY users should call 711.


You can also call the Independent Consumer Advocacy Network (ICAN) to get free, independent advice about your coverage, complaints, and appeals’ options. They can help you manage the appeal process. Contact ICAN to learn more about their services:
