Shaun Ruskin Appointed Chief Operating Officer at VillageCare


New York, NY – [June 27, 2024] –Shaun Ruskin has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for VillageCare and VillageCareMAX Managed Care Health Plans. In his new role, Shaun will oversee all aspects of business operations and strategic initiatives for VillageCareMAX Managed Care Health Plans, reinforcing VillageCare's commitment to delivering exceptional care and services to its diverse community of members.

 
Shaun brings over 15 years of extensive leadership experience and strategic planning for health care organizations with a focus on improving operational efficiencies, resulting in increased revenue, higher quality, and reduced costs.

Shaun had previously held several key leadership roles in Business Development and operations at VillageCare for over 10 years, and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Centerlight Health Care.  At Centerlight, he was a key leader in the strategic turnaround of the organization’s growth and operations across Member Experience, Provider Relations/Network Engagement, Government Affairs, Marketing, Communications, and Enrollment/Growth resulting with the organization’s renewed strong reputation, improved Quality tier, and an overall positive financial position.
